American Modern served as the licensed and insured general contractor for a complete commercial renovation of this dispensary in Saginaw, Michigan. The project involved a full interior and exterior transformation to support the West Coast vibe while meeting structural, mechanical, and life-safety requirements.

The scope of work included new electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems designed for the new retail store. Structural improvements were a major component of the renovation, including structural support upgrades, and framing modifications. All structural work was completed in coordination with engineers and local inspectors to ensure full compliance with applicable building codes and load requirements.

Interior construction included structural framing, drywall installation, and full interior finishing to create a beautiful retail sales floor, secure storage areas, and other personnel and customer amenities. Exterior improvements were also completed as part of the renovation, including new windows and doors, exterior painting, concrete curb and gutter, ada concrete ramp and railing, new catch basins for storm water retention, and the installation of metal paneling and composite wood siding to enhance durability and curb appeal.

Throughout the project, American Modern coordinated closely with engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to manage sequencing, inspections, and approvals. The result was a fully renovated, code-compliant retail store designed to support long-term commercial use, member safety, and efficient daily operations.
